I guess we can always hope.

-1MansMoney1MansMoneyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03671664305287248756noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6660577093050800840.post-23570479928159338032009-04-13T22:46:00.000-07:002009-04-13T22:46:00.000-07:00No worries! Do you think that will change as the economy gets stronger? *Note my infinite optimism that this will get better so my own match will increase!Kristy @ Master Your Cardhttp://www.masteryourcard.com/blognoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6660577093050800840.post-36463676384769309672009-04-07T16:58:00.000-07:002009-04-07T16:58:00.000-07:00Kristy - I stand corrected. Our employers (mine & my wife's) do not match any contributions so I totally overlooked this. Thanks for catching it!

-1MansMoney1MansMoneyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03671664305287248756noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6660577093050800840.post-9612936987828793562009-04-06T19:06:00.000-07:002009-04-06T19:06:00.000-07:00You had saying 'Amen' all the way until the end. D...You had saying 'Amen' all the way until the end. DO NOT cancel retirement contributions. The power of compounding interest is your friend, the earlier you start, the better off you'll be in retirement. Not to mention, if you're not contributing, you're leaving free money on the table from your employer's side. That's just crazy. By all means, reduce your contributions if you need to, but I don't recommend that you cancel them altogether.

I'm surprised you'd suggest that, 1Man!Kristy @ Master Your Cardhttp://www.masteryourcard.com/blognoreply@blogger.com
